Today's Key - Dimensions in Time -The Imperative






El Imperativo es el Present Habitual (Simple) apuntado a YOU.
Usamos el imperative (imperativo) para: request (rekuést) pedir,
order (órder) mandar, invite (inváit) invitar, offer (Ófer) ofrecer o
give instructions (giv instrácshens) dar instrucciones.
Ya por si, comunicamos con You (sea singular o plural) y por la misma razón no mencionamos el pronombre.

Por ejemplo: Call me! (kól mi) Llamame! (no se dice tu me llamas)

Request:
Please, pass me the salt (por favor, pasame la sal)
Please, don't leave. (por favor, no vayas)
Please, wait a moment. (por favor, esperá un momento)

Order:
Bring
us two glasses of red wine.
(traenos dos vasos de vino)
Sit here and don't move. (sienta aca y no muevas)
Take this tray back to the kitchen.(Vuelva esta bandeja a la cocina)

Invite:
Come
back to see us soon. (ven a visitarnos pronto)
Join me for dinner at the club. (reune conmigo para cenar en el club)
Tell me what happened. (cuentame que pasó)

Offer:

Take
my coat, it's quite cold outside.
(lleva mi abrigo, esta bastante frio afuera)
Have a cup of coffee. (ten una tasa de cafe)
Try this dish, it's delicious. (gose este plato, es delicioso)

Whip
(batir) three or four eggs in a bowl adding salt and pepper.
